FAQ Sept 2024
Q: At what age do we get to pick kittens if we are on a wait list?
A: I will reach out to wait list families between 4-5 weeks for kitten selections
Q: Timing isn’t right for me with this litter, can I get on a wait list for future litters?
A: Yes! We want this to be a not stressful experience so whenever you are ready, just let us know!
Q: Why are you a breeder with only one breeding pair?
A: Having the cats be apart of our family is something we are very passionate about. Adding too many cats would hinder our ability to have the cats in our home as a part of our family.
Q: Do your cats enjoy being around you?
A: Yes, both Anna and Sven love their people. The kittens learn from watching their parents interact with people and quickly build a loving, trusting relationship. In the early days of this litter, Anna felt left out spending so much time in her nesting box that she carried the kittens across the home to join us for story time or movie night before they were mobile themselves.
Q: Are your cats DNA and health tested?
A: Yes, Both Anna and Sven have been DNA swabbed and have annual health screenings alongside their regular vet well checks.
Q: Can I come visit my kitten before pick up day?
A: No. We are a closed cattery for the safety of our animals and family. I will do video calls, regular photo and videos, as well as regular updates once you have selected your kitten. Selecting a kitten sight unseen might sound scary, but I ask you a series of questions to determine what kitten I would suggest would fit best in your home at which point you can choose from any remaining kittens.
Q: What if I have a question about my kitten in 6 months? Can I contact you?
A: Absolutley!! Any updates, questions, or concerns I am always available at badgermtbengal@yahoo.com
Q: What does my kitten come with?
A: We do first 2 rounds of shots, vet well check, de-worming, fixed (if bought as pet), harness trained (Harness comes with kitten), health guarantee, very well socialized, DNA testing, litter trained, litter additive to help with transition, a blanket, and a small bag of their feed
